We drove 3 hours north to beautiful Seattle this weekend, enjoying nonstop sun our entire weekend away. On Friday, we walked from the Fremont neighborhood to Gas Works Park, a former gasification plant overlooking Lake Union. The park pleasingly merges hills and city views with pieces of the old gas plant.
After a delicious lunch at Shanik, we visited the Olympic Sculpture Park, a 9 acre meandering park nestled on the Puget Sound. Each turn on the path led to jaw-dropping views of the Olympic Mountain Range interplayed with unique modern sculptures.
